“But Peter said to them: Do penance, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ, for the remission of your sins: and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.” Acts 2:38

The sacrament of Reconciliation (also called confession and/or Penance) is a wonderful way to experience God’s mercy and forgiveness offered to us through the Church.

A priest is available in the church for private confession on Saturday’s from 3:45 – 4:30 p.m.  Communal Penances services are held during Advent and Lent. Also, the sacrament of Reconciliation for children is celebrated in January of each year, several months before they are scheduled to receive their first Communion.

The sacrament of Reconciliation is also available on an appointment basis during the week; simply call the parish office to schedule a time and place.
