We’re Still Here

Masses have resumed and the Church is still alive and well.
Some ministries have resumed and we are adjusting to virtual meetings.
Welcome to the latest issue of The Matthian.
A nod to the founding members of the parish community, utilizing a new way to communicate and stay in touch.

All Are Welcome at Mass!

All parishioners are welcome to attend Mass on either Saturday at 5:00 pm or Sunday at 10:30 am next weekend. We have determined that the alphabet system (A-L vs. M-Z on alternate weekends) we implemented to limit the number of people attending is not needed at this time. Many are being cautious and still are not ready to return, therefore we are able to welcome all parishioners to Mass each weekend.

Those who have already completed the Informed Consent Form are not required to complete a form each weekend. If next weekend is your first time back, please bring your completed Informed Consent Form. (If you forget, don’t worry — we have copies in Fr. Lacey Hall).

RCIA Celebration of the Sacraments of Initiation

Alleluia!  Christ is Risen.  These are the words sung and proclaimed at the Easter Vigil as the Church completes the Rite of Christian Initiation process by fully initiating the adults who have been preparing for many months to receive the sacraments.  This is the first year of a joint RCIA process for both parishes held at the St. Matthias campus each Sunday.  Click here to read more.

Peninsula Multifaith Coalition: Samaritan House Collection

Samaritan House of San Mateo is in need of children’s socks and undergarments for distribution through their Kids Closet. We thought we could help by organizing a donation drive to collect these items now so they are ready to be delivered once the COVID-19 restrictions are lifted (hopefully before school starts in August). Click here for more information.
