St. Matthias Kids’ Carnival & Oktoberfest 2018
Saturday, October 27th from 11:00 am – 3:00 pm

Our annual Kids’ Carnival and Oktoberfest is a fun-filled afternoon which features several activities for the young ones like a bounce house, petting zoo (sponsored by 4-H), face painting and carnival games. For the young-at-hear, we have live music from our traditional “German” band, and local band, “ConverGents.” The Mid-Peninsula Old Time Car Club will be here with cars on display, and the Redwood City Fire and San Mateo County Sherriff Departments are also here to round out this truly community based event.

Brats and hot dogs, beer and soda will be for sale. A meal ticket is just $10 per person, and children under 5 eat FREE.

Raffle Grand Prize is $1,000, plus many other prizes. Raffle Tickets are available to purchase for $25 each or 5 for $100.

Volunteer Sign Up

Click the link above to volunteer to help with set up on Friday, October 26th or at the event on Saturday, October 27th. Volunteers are needed for food service, ticket sellers, the Haunted House, Kids’ Carnival, the grill, and decorating, etc. You can also use the link to sign up to bring homemade potato salad for potato salad contest or homemade baked goods for the Spin-to-Win booth.

Purchase Food or Raffle Tickets

Click the link above to pre-purchase food or raffle tickets via credit card. A convenience fee will be applied to your purchase. However, this saves you time at the event and enables you to go straight to the food line.

Our event is truly community driven! If you have a business that you’d like to advertise at the event, consider making a small donation to help sponsor the event and get the added bonus of advertising during the fun.
