Reconciliation

“But Peter said to them: Do penance, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ, for the remission of your sins: and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.” Acts 2:38

The sacrament of Reconciliation (also called confession and/or Penance) is a wonderful way to experience God’s mercy and forgiveness offered to us through the Church.

A priest is available in church for private confession on Saturday’s from 3:45 – 4:30 p.m.  Occasionally, the parish celebrates communal penance services as the need arises. Also, we normally celebrate the sacrament of Reconciliation for children several months before they are scheduled to receive their first Communion.

The sacrament of Reconciliation is also available on an appointment basis during the week; simply call the parish office to schedule a time and place.
